Job Seekers

As a candidate, do I have to pay for the services of a recruitment agency?
  • No, the service is completely free for candidates. Most employment agencies are compensated either by employers or, in some cases, through government initiatives aimed at helping unemployed individuals find work. Recruitment companies, such as Staffing, benefit when candidates register with them, as this allows them to source exceptional talent on behalf of their clients. These clients pay the agency for their services.
  • Registering with recruitment agencies is entirely free of charge for candidates, and even if you are offered a position, it is the client of the recruitment agency who covers any associated fees.
When will I paid?

Every Friday, we pay all our temporary workers weekly.

Can I register in full online?

My name, address, national insurance number or other details are incorrect on my payslip. How do I get this changed?

Please call 01902 425 500 and we will correct them for you.

My payslip says I have been paid holiday pay, but the hours do not seem enough?

Any annual leave will be paid at a rate of an average day’s pay for each day of leave, your average day’s pay will be calculated based on a reference period of the previous 52 weeks, or the number of complete weeks for which you have worked, if less than 52 weeks.

I have been away sick from work, II was expecting statutory sick pay but it seems low?

Subject to qualification, statutory sick pay is only paid on the fourth day of sickness; the first 3 days are waiting days and are unpaid.

There is a deduction on my payslip for pension, I didn’t agree to this or want it?

As an Employer we have to auto-enrol people into a workplace pension scheme, it is the law. You can opt-out, but this must be done within 4 weeks of your first deduction.

After the first deduction has been made you will receive a welcome pack from the pension’s provider, your options will be detailed in that pack.

I seem to be paying a lot of tax, why is this?

When you commence work, you should hand in your P45 from your previous employer, this will mean we can carry on your tax code and pay record.

If you do not have this, you can fill in a ‘starter checklist’ with us, this will be done when registering; we will send the information on this to the HMRC, who will send us your tax code within a few weeks.

Do I need to know how to run a recruitment agency?

No. Ideally, we would prefer franchise owners who have commitment, drive, ambition, and enthusiasm for the business and have a background in recruitment, but this is not essential.

What is your recruitment procedure for franchisees?

Once you have received your franchise information pack and should you wish to pursue the matter further, then we will invite you to one of our main offices throughout the UK to discuss the matter in further detail.

Can I run my franchise business from home?

Yes, you can to start with, however, It will be a requirement that you have an office located within your franchise territory within 12 months.

Can I sell my franchise in the future?

Yes. You can sell the franchise at any point, and whilst we will work with you to find a suitable buyer we will also have the first option to purchase the business.

Any potential buyers can only be confirmed by ourselves.

What are the potential earnings?

Your earnings will depend on your hard work and business plan however form previous experience good franchisees can achieve a £1m turnover in year one.

How long is the franchise agreement?

Our franchise agreement lasts for five years, during which we offer hands-on assistance whenever needed. From regular support visits and audits to regional meetings and an annual conference, we ensure our franchisees have every opportunity to share ideas, learn from industry experts, and grow their businesses.

We provide a full week of comprehensive training covering our in-house systems, front-office operations, healthcare recruitment services, and back-office support. How long does it take to start after signing?

Every territory will be different, and we will work with you to complete the necessary documents.

We will assist you to finalise the business and marketing plans, locate suitable premises and offer full training on our business procedures and how we use our in-house systems.

We aim to get a franchise up and running within a couple of weeks.
